About This Action Group

"Reusable learning objects" are a new pedagogical phenomenon, and we have made efforts to share such resources in the Maricopa Learning eXchange. Our Action Group is researching and assembling the best learning object resources and is working closely with an emerging software called Pachyderm.

Your co-chairs this year are Donna Rebadow (Paradise Valley) and Lisa Young (GateWay).

See the 2004 Ocotillo Kickoff videos to meet us almost "in person".

Our Action Group started off the 2004 year by visiting each of the colleges to get a "pulse" on the level of awareness and interest in learning objects. This primed us to offer a series of workshops in the Spring of 2005.

This year, we hope to offer more Creating RLO workshops at the colleges, and to develop some new materials as the NMC Pachyderm Project becomes evailable.
